Official Notice to all Members:
The Board of Directors met in November 2017 and have proposed the following revision to the club by-laws. As per club regulations, any change to the by-laws must be presented to the club membership for a period of 60 days. This posting serves as that notice and shall remain on the club website until the club votes on the proposed revision at our annual meeting in March 2018.
As Proposed amendment to section 6 b of the Bylaws to permit appeal of membership suspension
6 b) (1) Any suspension under this subsection may be appealed in writing to the Board. The written submission shall include all information the suspended member relies upon to support the appeal for reinstatement.
6 b) (2) The Board shall decide all suspension appeals, either at the next scheduled Board meeting or at a special meeting called for that purpose. In making its decision, the Board shall consider the writing submitted by the suspended member and may consider any other information that the Board, in its sole discretion, considers relevant. The Board shall then promptly communicate its decision to the appealing member.
