As you know, this email is a long time coming.
We plan to restart our weekly ride schedule as follows:
Saturday 9:00am 5/29
Wednesday 6:00pm 6/2
Monday Women's Ride 6:00pm- July TBD
As we have for the past several months, the club will continue to monitor CDC guidelines and recommendations. It is important to remind you that we are also a volunteer leadership group and are not the mask and vaccination police. We will however, continue to encourage and enforce safe and respectful interactions in our groups. Be mindful of yours and others personal space especially as we gather for the Wednesday ride signup sheet process.
It has been over a year since many of us have ridden in a group on our local roads, there is increased risk in normal riding hazards including pot holes and sharing the road with vehicles. This means you have to be EXTRA alert. You are ultimately responsible to know your surroundings, ride safely and smartly.
We all have a similar goal here, to get back together and share in each other’s company while doing what we love. If we all play our part we will get there, together!
